All the important information to manage payroll with FLiiP
Fliip allows you to manage the salaries of your employees in order to save many administration hours each week. You have two different sub-categories: hours management and salary.
Type of remuneration
You can manage the salary of each employee through the creation of templates. It is possible to create models according to the type of payment, by employee or by profession. You have endless possibilities, it all depends on how you want to create your models.
Here are the different types of payment available to you:
-
Per hour
Pay your employees per hour worked. For example, if you enter the rate of pay as $ 25, the employee will be paid $ 25 / hr. -
Journey
Pay your employees per course. For example, if you enter the rate of pay at $ 25, then it will be the amount paid per course given by your employee, regardless of the duration of the course. -
By registered member
Pay your employees according to the members registered in the course. For example, if you enter the pay rate as $ 2, this will be the amount paid per registered member. 12 registered members = $ 24 for the course. -
By confirmed presence
Pay your employees according to confirmed attendance at their course. For example, if you enter the rate of pay at $ 2, then this will be the amount paid per confirmed attendance during the course. The employee will not be paid if the client's attendance is not confirmed. -
% occupancy on registrations *
Pay your employees according to the percentage of occupancy in their course, based on enrollment. Indicate the rate of pay for each percentage bracket. See the following example:
% occupancy on registrations
|
Remuneration
|
Less than or equal to 49%
|
20$
|
Less than or equal to 74%
|
25$
|
Less than or equal to 100%
|
30$

% of occupancy over attendance *
Pay your employees according to the percentage of occupancy in their course, based on attendance. Indicate the type of remuneration for each percentage bracket. See the following example:
% of occupancy over attendance
|
Remuneration
|
Less than or equal to 49%
|

Unpaid
If you want a type of course to be unpaid, choose this option.
* When you enter a rate of pay for a bracket between 0 and X, it means that the employee will be paid even if the% of occupation is equal to 0. If you want to avoid this situation, add a condition and enter a remuneration of $ 0 for an occupancy rate "Less or equal" to "0%".
Assign payroll to your employee
Once you have created your compensation model, you need to associate it with indicating the employment status of each of your employees and their pay type.
Employment status:
Employment status reveals the relationship with the individual, namely whether they are 1) your employee or 2) self-employed. To change the employment status, click the "Manage staff" tab> "Staff list". Search for the individual in question, plus click "Edit" (three dots on the right). Scroll down a bit and you can select the desired option.
Pay type (salary model)
In the same section as for the employment status, you will be able to select the remuneration model associated with the individual in question.
Hours management
Once the compensation model (s) have been configured, you can now manage the hours of your employees by clicking on the "Payroll management"> "Hours management" tab. You will thus see all the hours of your employees. By clicking on the name of these, then on the date, you will obtain a detailed overview with the date, time, category / type, type of salary, duration (number of hours), registrations, the rate of pay and the total due. You can also filter the information by time range, employee, category or specific class.
If you want to modify or delete a payment line associated with one of your employees, you must click on their name, then on a specific date and finally on “Modify manually” or “Delete manually”.
You can also export payroll information to Excel file (.xls) by clicking on the tab below:
At the bottom of the page, you will find a Global Summary of each employee with their total hours and salary listed for the date range chosen above.
Note that FLiiP is a tool for preparing your payroll, but you cannot pay your employees directly via FLiiP
